Wild Roots

About

Wild Roots Garden was founded at Northwestern University in the fall of 2009 through a collaboration between the One Book One Northwestern project, three undergraduate environmental student organizations (SEED, ECO, and ESW), Facilities Management, the graduate student garden, and Norris University Center. Today, Wild Roots is managed and rub by undergraduate students. During the fall and spring quarters we are out working in the garden every Sunday, rain or shine! The fresh produce we harvest is donated to community groups in Evanston. Throughout the school year we also host fun and educational events on campus and have a variety of field trips related to sustainability, the environment, and farming. We are located on the south lawn of Norris University Center (outside of ShakeSmart). Feel free to come by the garden and visit us!
